ABOUT ME

BIOGRAPHY

Samantha Barthelemy (she/her) is a Boston-based multidisciplinary artist whose work intersects abstraction and representation, drawing inspiration from geometry, language, and memory.

Though residing in America for the majority of her life, she remains deeply rooted to the languages and culture of Europe where she grew up.

Photography provides the foundation of Samantha's creative process, which explores various mediums, including collage, alternative printing and artist's books.

Samantha holds an MFA from Lesley University, College of Art + Design, as well as a BFA from The Art Institute of Boston and an AS from The Southeastern Center for Photography. Fluent in both English and French, Samantha's artistic journey is enriched by her multicultural perspective.
