EYE STRIA

These images are autobiographical fragments of my life as seen through the lens of my plastic toy camera....mimicking the striation my eyes see due to vision loss. Influenced by analytical Cubism and the prompts of geometry and memory, I piece together photographic montages within the camera, on the negative. I'm drawn to repetition and line breaks, like a film still...alleviating one photograph from the burden of representing a single moment.
